Gorilla Duct Tape Features and Reviews

Gorilla Tape has taken duct tape to a new level. This double thick adhesive tape surpasses ordinary duct tapes, making the list of uses virtually endless. Made with double thick adhesive, strong reinforced backing, and a tough all-weather shell, it’s the biggest, strongest, toughest thing ever to happen to duct tape. Gorilla Tape is manufactured with a highly concentrated rubber based adhesive two to three times as thick as traditional duct tape. The result is a tape that fills gaps and penetrates rough surfaces. It sticks to rough and uneven surfaces, including wood, stone, stucco and brick, that ordinary duct tapes can't hold. To us, it’s made the way tape should be: The Toughest on Planet Earth.

Directions: Use like any other tape. Tear Gorilla Tape by hand or cut to size with a knife or scissors. It is important to clean the surface and brush off any loose particles and dirt before applying Gorilla Tape. Apply the tape carefully, smoothing out any pockets or rolls. That’s it. Enjoy the strength and durability of Gorilla Tape! To retain adhesive quality, store Gorilla Tape in a cool, dry place. Keep out of direct sunlight. Try storing the tape vertically (rather than laying flat), on a hook or on wax paper. If you have multiple rolls, keep your excess supply wrapped until they’re needed. Gorilla Tape works best at temperatures above 32°F (0°C). For best results, always apply the tape at room temperature. If Gorilla Tape freezes, it will work just fine once it returns to room temperature. Gorilla Tape can be removed, but with some difficulty and it may leave some residue. To remove any excess residue, we recommend using the tape itself as a blotter. Gorilla Tape should not be used as an electrical tape. We’ve found that Gorilla Tape will last a lot longer than regular duct tapes when it comes in contact with moisture.

Reviews

"I've tried many brands of duct tape. Hands down gorilla brand is the best. Nice thick tape with enough adhesive strength for a variety of applications. Tears off straight with no loose threads after tearing. I won't be buying any other brand when it comes to tape. Compared to 3m/scotch this tape is premium quality."

"It's not only much stronger but much stickier. I had the "opportunity" to use it recently on an unexpected canoe portage. Six people, five canoes, over six miles of hill and dale in the Rockies. We used it to lash paddles together to carry 50-70 lb loads between two people. Also, to reinforce the grommets on a cheap, blue tarp that was re-purposed into an emergency shelter in moderate wind, sleet, snow and rain.
It never even hinted at giving way. This stuff sticks and holds."

"Strongest, stickiest tape in existence. Forms a stable, heavy bond. Once it's taped, it's taped for good. Duct tape is strong, but Gorilla tape is duct tape on gorilla steroids. Don't use this tape unless you are very serious about taping."

"Best brand of duct tape on the market. Don't put it on something your afraid to get it off, took the paint right off my car when I used it to cover a window! lol"

"Strongest tape I have come across. great for emergency fixes or otherwise. I had this stuff on a water hose for 2 years and although the hose did start to leak again, I couldnt get the tape off the hose even after those years."

"Beats 3M duct tape any day! 10 times stickier than duct tape. 3 times thicker than duct tape. At least 5 times the filaments for strength than duct tape. I will never use duct tape again!"
